Dr. Gerard Quinn

Dr. Gerard Quinn of Ogle Street, Armagh and Ardagh Avenue in Blackrock, Dublin. Gerard passed away peacefully on the 16th of August 2025.

 

Son of Mick Quinn of Tassagh, Armagh and Ciss McLerney of Billeady Monaghan. Eldest brother to Ann (deceased), Patrick (deceased), Gabrielle, Brenda, Michael (deceased), Victor (deceased), Eugene (deceased) and Frances. Over his academic career, Dr Quinn taught at St Patrick’s College, Armagh, St Mary’s College, London, Carysfort College of Education, and University College Dublin. Fondly remembered by wider family, friends and former students. Sincere thanks to the staff of St Patrick’s Care Centre in Baldoyle for their kindness and utmost care.
