Dr. James Ross McNeill (Jim) Houston

HOUSTON Dr. James Ross McNeill (Jim) (Westport, Co. Mayo and late of Blackrock and Auckland) August 27, 2023. Predeceased by his first wife Wanda (née Kennedy and later McWilliam) and son Patrick (Bobby) and he will be hugely missed by Susan (Hanaghan), Jonathan and grandchildren Mark (Houston) Runa and Lucinda (Lucie). Also predeceased by his second wife Patricia (née Mansfield and Brown) and he will be missed by daughter Brigid and son John, as well as grandchildren Katherine (Katie), Richard, James, Andrew and Peter, his extended family and many friends.

The family would like to thank the Friars Lodge Nursing Home and Mayo Roscommon Hospice for all their loving care in his later years. He enjoyed life to the full, filled with laughter, fun, music and friends.

Funeral Service on Wednesday afternoon, September 6th at 2pm in St Mary’s Church, Cong followed by private interment. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu of flowers, online only to Mayo Roscommon Hospice at: www.hospice.ie . House private.
