Dr. John Gately
GATELY Dr. John (Cabinteely, Dublin 18) - March 03rd, 2020. In the loving care of the exceptional staff at Newtownpark House Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Máire and partner of the late Sue (McCrory, Sligo). Dear father of John, Paul and Sally Ann. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Darina and Karen, son-in-law Ronan, adored grandchildren, brothers Malachi and Michael (Gailey), sisters Evelyn and Kathleen (Galway) and Ann Marie (Blackrock, Co. Louth), brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his sister Betsy and brother Tom (USA).
May he rest in peace.
Reposing in the Oratory Chapel, Newtownpark House Nursing Home, Blackrock on Friday (March 6th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass Saturday morning (March 7th) at 10.00am in St. Brigid’s Church Cabinteely with burial thereafter in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only.
