Dr. John Hackett McCarthy
Dr. John Hackett McCarthy, Australia and formerly of Strandside South, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, who died in Australia on the 12th of August 2023 aged 95 years. Dr. John was the eldest son of the late Kathleen and Dr. Dan McCarthy. Predeceased by his wife Nuala (née Phelan) and his daughter-in-law Trish. John will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving children Seán and Miceal, daughter-in-law Katie, brother Donie, sisters Clare and Cecily, grandchildren, extended McCarthy family and friends both at home and abroad.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 10th July, at 10a.m in St. Augustine's Church, Abbeyside. Burial of ashes after Mass at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Dungarvan.
