Dr Liam Mundow

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Dr Liam Mundow, Douglas Road, Cork, (Late of St. Finbarr’s Maternity Hospital), who passed away on 16th of December 2025 peacefully after a short illness bravely borne and surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Cork University Hospital.

Liam dearly beloved husband of the late Mena. (née Caldwell). Adored father of Liam, Daragh, Ciara, Deirdre and Niamh.
Predeceased by his sister Madeline, and brothers Diarmuid, Harry.

Sadly, missed by his loving family, grandchildren Tara, Ashling, Neidin, Reuben, Liam, Xander, Erin, son-in-law Brian, daughter-in-law Sylvie, brother Fr. Sean, sisters Neasa, Fidelma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Requiem Mass on Friday, the 19th of December at 1:00pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballinlough, Cork which will be live-streamed at the following link here followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock
