Dr Malcolm Little, MSc. F.R.C. Path., F.R.C.P.I., F.F. Path. RCPI, former President of the Connacht Branch of IRFU, of Oughterard, Co. Galway.

Peacefully at University Hospital Galway, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family.

Predeceased by his brothers, Darragh and Gregory and sister, Catriona.

Malcolm will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marguerite, much loved sons Cormac, Duncan and Gareth, his adored granddaughters Aisling and Meabh, sister Gwenda, daughter-in-law Bernie, brothers-in-law Kieran, John and Richard, sister-in-law Rosemary, nieces and nephews, extended family, former colleagues, wide circle of friends through both his professional and sporting pursuits.

Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, Oughterard, Co. Galway, (H91 EV52) on Sunday August 03, 2025 from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Ignatius Church, Sea Road, Galway (H91 Y544) at 11 a.m on August 04, 2025. Private Cremation to follow.

The family home is strictly private.

Family flowers only. Donations in Malcolm’s memory may be made to Cancer Care West.

The Funeral Mass will not be livestreamed.
