Dr. Mimi Chie Wei Kuan
(née Fan)

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Dr. Mimi Chie Wei Kuan (née Fan) (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia) April 4th, 2026. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

 

Predeceased by her father Dr. Fan Shao Wen.

 

Mimi will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Sam and daughter Calista, her mother Pick Sieng, her brother John, her sister Lili, her mother-in-law Mee Chew, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

Deeply missed and lovingly remembered - May she rest in peace.

 

Mimi was extremely grateful to the wonderful staff of the Mater Private Hospital, who provided excellent care and showed her immense kindness.

Funeral Arrangements

 

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Thursday evening (9th April) from 5pm to 7pm.

 

Removal to the Grace Abundant Filipino Community Church (GAFCC), 10 Main Street, Blanchardstown (D15DX34) on Friday morning (10th April) arriving for service at 11am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Please note there is no parking available at the GAFCC, please use street parking or nearby public parking.
