The death has occurred of
Dr Richard (Dick) Tobin
Tobin, Dr Richard (Dick), 1 The Oaks, Turlough Road, Castlebar (and formerly The Mall, Castlebar) October 19th 2016 at Mayo University Hospital (MUH). Surrounded by his loving family in his 91st year. Predeceased by son Charles and devoted sisters Maud and Florrie. Sadly missed by his loving wife Beda, children Margaret (Pierse), Richard, Anne, John, Leo, Patricia (Adediran), Carmel (O’ Brien), Joan (Geraghty), Brid, Paul and Sinead (Austin). Much loved husband, dad and grandad.
He will be much mourned by his grieving family, sons and daughters-in-law and his many cherished grandchildren. Greatful thanks to all staff at Cuan Caitriona and MUH who cared for him so lovingly throughout his illness.
Remains reposing at The Coady Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4pm with removal at 7pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Newport Road.
