Dr. Pat O'Dwyer

Dr. Pat O'Dwyer, formerly of Castletown Road, Mountrath, Co. Laois, died peacefully in his 101st year on the 8th of April 2022, in the tender care of the staff of Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Predeceased by his wife June and sadly missed by his children Paddy, Robert, John, Catherine, Gearóid and Turlough, daughters-in-law and partners, sister Bridie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Removal from Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Sunday morning at 10.45 a.m., to arrive at St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath at 11.15 a.m., for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m., followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made please to Laois Hospice.

Government Covid guidelines still to be observed. Those attending the funeral, funeral home, Church and Cemetery are requested to wear masks and refrain from handshaking.
