It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our beloved mother Drucilla (Drue) McMahon (née O’Donoghue) Rossa Villas, Garryowen, Limerick and Ex Dunnes Stores, Parkway and Golden Vale.

 

On December 19th 2025, peacefully, at Riverdale House Nursing Home, Blackwater, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Pre-deceased by husband Edward and her siblings.

 

Very deeply regretted by children Anne Griffin, Jacqueline McManus, Gerard, Edward and David, grandchildren Ian, Louise, Ashling, Ryan, Laura, Ciara, Mckayla, Conor and Jack, great grandchildren Finn, Blake, Síofra, Paudie, Aoibhínn and Cole, daughter-in-law Shirley, sons-in-law Noel and Sean, sisters Catherine Hickey and Mary McCoy, brother Joe O’Donoghue, nephews, nieces, other relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Sunday, December 21st, from 5pm to 6.30pm.

Funeral will arrive Monday, December 22nd, at St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral place, for Requiem Mass at 11am, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

 

Requiem Mass will be streamed live here

 

Funeral cortége will pass the family home after Mass to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.
