Former vice principal of St Mary’s National School, Cobh.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of all at Douglas Nursing Home, Cork.

Predeceased by her husband Dan, daughter Ann (Hogan) and son Padraig.

Much loved mother of Neil, Donal, Michael, Cait (O’Sullivan), Maire (Ireland), Sean, Noreen, Siobhan (Collins) Sheila (O’Connell), Seamus and Tomas, dear sister of Patty (Browne) and the late Ted, Bren, Maud (Cadogan), Kathleen (Gahan) and Sheila (Ronan) sister-in-law of the late Kitty, Joan, Neilus, James and Tommy

Dympna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, sons, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Sean, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners,relatives, neighbours, her former work colleagues of St Mary’s National School, The Sisters of Mercy and a wide circle of friends.

Dympna will repose at Cahills Funeral Home, Newtown Rd., Cobh P24Y383 on Friday 10th of April from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal will take place from Cahill's Funeral Home at 10.15am on Saturday 11th of April (via Park Road) pausing at St Mary’s National School en route to St Colman's Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St Colman’s cemetery (via East Hill).
