Dympna Gerrard, née Hand, Mary’s Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 18th April 2026. Peacefully after a short illness in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife to Joe and loving mam to Michael and Nicola. Dympna will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Colette, son-in-law Martin, her adored grandchildren James, Lennon, Sadhbh and Jack, siblings Frank and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Wednesday morning in St Mary’s Church, James Street, which can be viewed live on www.stmarysdrogheda.ie

Burial will take place afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
