The death has occurred of
Eamon Prendiville
PRENDIVILLE (Crewe Bay, Schull and formerly of Lisheenbawn, Castleisland, Co. Kerry): on January 17th 2026, peacefully in the presence of family at Cork University Hospital, after a short illness bravely borne. EAMON beloved partner of Janice Harrington, much loved father of Ita, Morag, Rachel and the late Edgar, grandfather of the late Jessica. Sadly missed by his family, brother Dan, Ita’s partner Paul, sons-in-law John and John, grandchildren Michael, Poppi, Lucas, Evelyn, Gavin and Seanie, sister-in-law Mary, step family Jack, Kate and Tomás, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Arundel & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Schull on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 at 11am in the Church of the Seven Sacraments, Lowertown (P81 CT92). Funeral afterwards to Kilbanivane Cemetery, Castleisland, Co. Kerry, arriving at approximately 3pm.
No flowers. Donations in lieu if desired, to Brú Columbanus.
