Eamonn Burgess
Eamonn Burgess of Meath Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow formerly Errigal Road, Drimnagh, Dublin.
March 4th 2026 peacefully surrounded by his devoted wife and family, while in the exceptional care of the amazing staff at The Beacon Hospital, Sandyford.
Remembered with love by his beloved wife Betty (née O’Leary) for 62 wonderful years, their daughters Caitriona, Deirdre and Nicola, brother Tom, sister Sr. Deirdre Burgess, adored grandchildren Conor, David, Mark, Laura, Roisin, Sarah, Sinead, Sam, Rachel, Daniel and Evan, sons-in-law Declan, Simon and Mark, sisters-in-law Sr. Marie O’Leary and Sharon, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Funeral Mass to Celebrate Eamonn’s life on Saturday March 7th at 1pm in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Putland Road, Bray (This can also be viewed live only on the parish webcam https://www.queenofpeace.ie) after which Eamonn will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
No flowers by request, donations in memory of Eamonn to St. Vincent de Paul or Down Syndrome Ireland.
