BYRNE, EAMONN, Grace Park Road, Dublin 9 (formerly of 197 Lower Dominick Street, Dublin 1; which always held a special place in his heart where he and his beloved Joanie had many happy years living there together), 26th August, 2024, peacefully at St. Francis Hospice Raheny, Dublin, surrounded by his devoted family. Pre-deceased by his loving wife and best friend Joanie (Mary Joan McMahon), his dearest parents Mary and William and brothers Liam and Philip. Eamonn will be deeply missed by his only daughter Ann (Murphy), and his two sons Michael and Eamonn, treasured grandchildren Kelsey, Kieran, Gerard, Mikeala, Monique, Katelyn and Kerry, Declan, Craig and Nenagh, cherished and blessed great grand-daughter little Arabella-Joann, son-in-law Mick, daughters-in-law Audrey and Rose, dearest sister Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousin Marie, a large extended family, treasured friends and lifelong neighbours.

 

The Byrne and McMahon family will always be so grateful to St. Francis Hospice Raheny, for their care to Eamonn at his time of need. Special words of appreciation to Finglas Community Care Services for all their support and help given to Eamonn, with special mention to Colette who became part of the family while caring for Eamonn and Joanie, you will always be fondly remembered for your kindness.

 

A special mention of thanks goes to Marie, Damien and Darren who have been by Ann, Michael and Eamonn’s side over the past few days, helping and supporting them. Please know you have helped us beyond anything and we will be forever grateful to you.

You will be Forever In Our Thoughts and Always In Our Hearts.

 

Eamonn will repose at his residence on THURSDAY 29th AUGUST 2024 from 5pm to 7pm

(House private outside of these hours).

Funeral Mass will take place on FRIDAY, 30th AUGUST 2024, at 11am

St. Laurence O’Toole Church, North Wall Parish, Seville Place, Dublin 1

Followed by a Burial Service at Fingal Cemetery, Fingal, Co. Dublin.
