On May 24, 2022 Eamonn died unexpectedly but peacefully at home with his wife Patricia by his side. Predeceased by his parents Peadar and Una Cassidy and by his brother-in-law Ben Mulhall. Eamonn will be forever loved and cherished by his wife Patricia, sister Margaret (Maura), brothers-in-law David and Nicholas, sisters-in-law Pauline, Marion, Jacqueline and Sharon, nieces and nephews, the extended Fitzsimons and Cassidy family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at home in Furbo (H91AK5V) on Thursday evening, 26 May from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Friday evening, 27 May, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Arriving at the Church of 'Realt na Mara', Furbo, on Saturday, 28 May, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Eamonn will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery overlooking Galway Bay.
