Eamonn McSweeney

Eamonn McSweeney (Mount Merrion, Co Dublin, also of Coolowen, Blarney, Co. Cork) A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, wife Marie, children Bryan, Suzanne and Barry, daughters in law Gemma and Michelle, son in law Peter and his treasured grandchildren Ollie, Isabelle, Tom, Charlie, Emma, Sean and Frank. Preceded by his parents Bryan and Nora and brothers Derry and Peter. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by his brothers Dan, John, Brian and Ted as well as his sisters in law Susan, Nora, Eileen and Sheila and his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, 18 The Close, Mount Merrion A94 D436 on Tuesday evening (February 13th) between 5pm and 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (February 14th) to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion for Funeral Mass at 11am which may be viewed on the parish web camera https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/ followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
