The death has occurred of
Eamonn (Ned) Buckley
Eamonn (Ned) Buckley, Gortroe, Lombardstown and formerly of Glantane,
passed away peacefully after a long illness surrounded by his loving family on December 3rd 2025 at Cork University Hospital.
Beloved husband of Marian (née Cashman, Banteer) and dear father of Timmy and Mary Ellen.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Nellie, sisters Mary and Anna May, brothers Kevin, Tim and Mick, nephew P.J. and niece Lisa Marie.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sisters Chrissie, Kit, Joan and Breda, brothers Patsy and John Joe, Timmy's partner Amy, Mary Ellen's partner John, his much adored grandchildren Jayden and Ren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Thursday (December 4th) from 6pm with Prayers at 8pm followed by Removal to St. John's Church, Glantane.
Requiem Mass on Friday (December 5th) at 2pm.
Funeral afterwards to Glantane New Cemetery.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. David Molony, Dr. John Kiely, Dr. Shane Killeen, all the Staff at Mallow General Hospital, the Mercy University Hospital, Cork University Hospital and especially the team of Ward 4A of Cork University Hospital.
