It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eamonn O’Carroll, following a short illness during which he was cared for with great kindness by the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Eamonn passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Barbara and devoted father to Sinéad, Paul, Elaine, and Ailish. Cherished father-in-law to Meabh, Michael, Darren, and Andy. Loving grandfather to Hannah, Samarah, Aoife, Evan, Zain, Ciara, Zoe, and Zara, and Angel babies Bridget and Dillon. Dear brother to Sean and Kieran, and predeceased by his loving sister Bernie.

Eamonn will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, neighbours, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home, 11 Wellesley Manor, Newbridge (W12 KD92) on Sunday, 13th July, from 4pm to 7pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Monday, 14th July, to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge, for Requiem Mass at 1pm.

Cremation service at 4pm in Mount Jerome Crematorium, 158 Harold’s Cross, Dublin (D6W HY98).
