It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Ebhana Finnegan, Lotamore, Mayfield, (late of Walkinstown, Dublin, and Rising Sun Athletics Club) who passed away on 12th April 2026, peacefully after an illness bravely borne surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Hospital. Ebhana (Née O’Dowda), dearly beloved wife of Patrick, devoted mother of Aidan, David and John. Pre-deceased by her brother Cathal.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her devoted and much loved grandchildren Kim, Saorise, Lily, great-grandchildren Eve, Elli, sisters Betty, Eithne, Dianna, Maria, sons partners Mary, Aishling, daughter-in law Patty, brothers-in-Law, sister-in-Law, nephews, nieces and extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, Cork, on Wednesday, 15th April from 5-6pm, with prayers at 5:45pm Requiem Mass on Thursday, 16th April at 1.00pm Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield, which will be live-streamed at the following link: Here Followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy which will also be live-streamed at the following link: Here
