DONNELLY, Eda (née O’Keeffe) late of Ballinteer and Dundrum, passed away peacefully, on the 2nd of September, 2025, in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Brendan. Eda was fiercely independent, fun, clever, entrepreneurial and a fantastic mother. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Mary, Peter, Sarah and Brenda; her children in law, Eamon, Debbie and Andrew and her cherished grandchildren Aoife, Eda, Sean, Michael, Saoirse, Heber and Bébhinn and her great grandson Rían as well as all her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Eda will be waked at home on Thursday (4th Sept) from 4pm. Removal on Friday morning (5th Sept) to St John The Evangalist Church, Ballinteer, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by her burial in the cemetery on the grounds of St. Kevin's Roman Catholic Church, Hollywood, Co. Wicklow. A bus from the church to the cemetery will be provided. All enquiries to Fitzgerald's Funeral Directors, Rush on (01) 8438772.
Eda’s family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff in St Vincents and St James Hospitals, Mount Carmel and Ballinteer Health Centre for all the care and support given to Eda.
