Eddie Barry

Eddie Barry of Ard na Lí, Oakpark, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died peacefully in his 92nd year, after a short illness, on 14th August 2025, beloved husband of the late Norrie (nee O’Donoghue- Knocknagoshel), cherished father of Breda, John & Eamonn and dear brother of John, Helen (Nee- Athlone) & Mary (O’Connor- The Spá, Tralee).

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, his adored grandchildren Orlaith, Seán, Jane, Zoe & Nora, daughters-in-law Jenny (More O’Ferrall) & Sara (Browne), brothers-in-law Tom & John, sisters-in-law Liz & Eily, nephews, nieces, all the team at Barry Packaging, his great neighbours, relatives and many friends.

 

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Sunday (17th August) from 2.30 to 4.30 p.m.

 

Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Monday morning at 11.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Eddie will be celebrated at 12 noon (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery, Tralee.
