Passed away peacefully in St. James Hospital on Sunday, 11th January 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents William and Annie, brothers and sisters Patrick, Collette, William, May, James, Sheila, Molly, Oliver, Benny and Noleen.
Beloved and devoted husband of Briege (née Farrell) and dear father of Jacqueline, Roger, Virginia, Eamonn, Charmaine and Michelle.
Eddie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Geraldine McArdle, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, and wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street [A91Y3CX] on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm.
House strictly private at all times
Removal on Friday morning at 10.40am on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church [A91WY98] arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery [A91F598]
