Eddie Heavey

On Monday, 7 October Eddie died following the wonderful care given to him by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Team led by Mr. Regan at Merlin Park Hospital and in the comfort of Galway Hospice. He was surrounded by his dearly loved family and died very peacefully. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Sonny and by his son Niall.

Deeply loved by his wife Kathleen, children Brian, Conor, Claire and Donal, grandchildren Cian, Cathal, Ella and Liadh, Óisin and Róise, Lily and Jack and by his daughters-in-law Aoife, Amie and Nina and son-in-law Vinny. He will be sadly missed also by his brothers Bernie, John and Pat, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, the extended family, lovely neighbours and friends.

Reposing at home in Oranbeg (H91YYF6) on Wednesday, 9 October, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eddie at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore on Thursday, 10 October, at 12 noon.

As well as this live-streaming link www.oranmoreparish.org/live/, the funeral Mass will also be broadcast locally on 105.3 FM. Following Mass, Eddie will be laid to rest with his beloved son Niall in the old cemetery in Oranmore.
