Eddie KEAVENEY

The death has occurred of Eddie Keaveney, Ex. Garda Síochána, Dysart, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, formerly Keadue, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. May 13th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family and in the dedicated and tender care of the staff at Roscommon Hospice.

Pre-deceased by his parents Padraig and Bridie, brother-in-law Mickey.

Eddie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters Maureen (Lenehan) Ballyfarnon, Joan (Connolly) Keadue and Vera (Craig) Dublin, brother Paddy (Muff, Co. Donegal) sister-in-law Rosemary, brothers-in-law Bill and Ken, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours, especially his many close friends in Dysart and all former work colleagues in An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Thursday evening, (May15th) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal to the Church of the Nativity of the B.V.M. Keadue, arriving 8.30 o’clock. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning (May 16th) at 10.30 a.m. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.
