The death has occurred of
EDDIE MCCARTHY
McCarthy (Summerstown Drive, Wilton) On April 17th 2023, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Cork University Hospital, Eddie (late of St. Finbarr’s Hurling and Football Club), beloved husband of Bridget (nee Harris), loving father of Tim, Frank, Paul, Una, Bob and John, dear brother of Una, Derry and the late Noreen, Maurice, Tadgh, John, Josie and Jim. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Thursday (20th) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (21st) at 12.00noon in St. Joseph’s S.M.A. Church, Wilton. Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
