Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital on October 2nd 2023.
Eddie is predeceased by his wife Delia Mitchell (nee Flanagan), and is mourned by his sons John, Michael and Aiden, daughters-in-law Mary, Helena and Pam, grandchildren Lee, Lauren and Evan, brother Johnny Mitchell, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Carey's Funeral Home Ballindine (F12A3C6) on Wednesday evening, October 4th, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Eddie's remains will arrive to the Church of the Holy Family Irishtown on Thursday morning, October 5th, for Funeral mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in Irishtown Cemetery.
Funeral mass will be live streamed on Kilvine parish Facebook.
