Eddie (Ned) Robinson

The death has occurred of Eddie (Ned) Robinson – 4TH Field Artillery Regiment -
New Ballinderry, Mullingar and formerly of Castlepollard, Co Westmeath – December 21st, 2025 (peacefully) in the company of his loving family in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by his dear baby daughter Marian and his brother Bert.

Beloved husband and best friend of Lena, much loved father of Susan, Karen and Jennifer and adored grandad of Andrew, Billy, Katie, Emma and Michael and great-grandad of Nathan and Amara. Eddie will be deeply missed by his wife and family, son-in-law Mick, Jennifer’s partner Alan, brothers John, Jake, Martin, David and Bobby, sisters Mary, Susan and Antoinette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and his wide circle of friends, especially his former colleagues in the Defence Forces and IUNVA Post 20.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Friday 26th December from 4 pm concluding at 5.45 pm.
Removal to St Paul’s Church, Delvin Road arriving at 6.30 pm.

Eddie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 27th December at 11 am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam (St Paul's Church) at the link below.
