Eddie Skelly

SKELLY, Eddie – 26th of August 1949 to 13th of April 2026 (Palmerstown and formerly of Ballyfermot) Eddie passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff in Harold’s Cross Hospice and previously St. James’s Hospital and Parnell Road stepdown facility.

Father of Emma, Eoife, Cian and Darragh. Grandfather to Lucy, Caytie, Callum, Cerys, Croía, Freya, Éabha, Leo and Zac. Predeceased by his siblings John, Aidan, Irene, Brendan, Cyril, Dermot and Noel.

Eddie will be very sadly missed by his sons and daughters, their Mam Jennifer, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Tony and Jimmy, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace

Eddie will be reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot, on Wednesday the 15th of April from 3-5pm. Removal on Thursday morning the 16th of April to The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel in Mount Jerome.
