Edel Murphy
(née Homan)
Formerly of Inchicore, Dublin. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the great care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by her loving daughter Heather and her brother and sister Liam and Mary Homan. Beloved wife of Paul and dear mother of Liam, Rachel, Rebecca, Emma, Ellen and Sophie. She will be sadly missed by her husband, son, daughters, her adored grandchildren Kyra, Ruth, Laynah, Senan, Sarah, Rian, Evie, Theo, Neala, Dallan, and Beatrice, daughter-in-law Katherine, siblings John, Bernie, Joe, Gerard and Sheila, brother-in-law Kieran, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Friday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo on Saturday morning at 11:00am for Requiem mass followed by burial in St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney, Co. Sligo.
