Edgar John Delaney

Edgar John Delaney of Goatstown, Dublin 14 and formerly of Calderwood Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin on Tuesday, 16th December, 2025, aged 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Georgina, dearly loved father of Geoffrey, David, Philip and Janice, dear brother of the late Ernest; he will be sadly missed by his extended family: daughters-in-law Dawn and Cheryl, son-in-law Raymond; his grandchildren Gavin, Timothy, Kirstie, Christopher, Leonie, Alex and Melanie; brothers-in-law Dermot and Victor, sister-in-law Betty, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday (19th December) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Service on Saturday (20th December) at 10.00am in Dardistown Crematorium Chapel, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Road followed by burial in Kilbarrack Burial Ground at approx. 11.30am.
