Edith Wheatley (née McDowell) of Season Park, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow.

Called Home December 21st 2025 peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family in her 101st year.

Pre-deceased by her husband Robert and his son Justin.

Remembered with love by her devoted family, sons Charlie, Tom, Philip and Ken, daughter Linda, daughters-in-law Jacinta, Lorraine, Nanette and Dorrie, Ken’s partner Irene, son-in-law Reijo, grandchildren Jamie, Raymond, Ross, Simon, Amy, Shauna, Alex, Justin, Yvonne and Stephanie, 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Edith will be received at 7pm on Tuesday December 23rd in St. Matthews Church, Church Road, Newtownmountkennedy. Funeral Service in Thanksgiving for Edith’s life at 2pm on Wednesday December 24th after which Edith will be laid to rest in Newcastle Churchyard.
