The death has occurred of Edmond P. Cooney of Los Angeles, USA and North Main Street, Youghal, Co. Cork.
Ed passed away peacefully after a long illness in Los Angeles on the 9th of March 2024, just short of his 87th birthday in the presence of his beloved wife Penny.
Ed, late of North Main Street, Youghal and Los Angeles, beloved son of the late Paddy and May Cooney of The Yawl Inn, sadly missed by his loving wife Penny, brother of the late Moss, brothers Sean and Pat, sister Mary, sister-in-law Raina, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends in Ireland and the USA.
Cremation has taken place privately.
Rest In Peace.
