The death has occurred of
EDMUND (EDDIE) MURPHY
MURPHY (Ballyvolane, Cork and late of Mayfield, Cork): On August 28, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the gentle care of the staff at St Clare’s Ward, St Finbarr’s Hospital, EDMUND (EDDIE) (late of Dunlops). He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Teresa (née Rea), his children Deirdre, Edmund, Stephen, Mark, Veronica and Jennifer, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Tuesday (September 2nd) from 5pm until 6pm.
Cremation will take place privately.
Family flowers only please.
Eddie’s family would like to thank the staff of Cork University Hospital and St Finbarr’s Hospital for the care given to Eddie and his family.
