Edward (Eddie) Davitt

Davitt, Edward (Eddie) - 3rd April 2026. (Unexpectedly at home) Ard-Na-Greine, Dublin 13 and formerly of Glasaree Road, Finglas East and retired Chief Inspector at Dublin Bus.

Predeceased by his father John, his mother Vera, his sister Mary, brother Patrick and his niece Julie. Beloved and devoted husband of Susan and adored dad to Keith, Elaine, Andrew and Louise.

Eddie will be very sadly missed and loved forever by his loving wife, children, daughter-in-law Graceann, son-in-law Colm, grandchildren James, Dylan and Joshua, his brother Sean, sisters Carmel and Lily, brothers- in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Eddie will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday 10th April from 2 to 4pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 11th April on at 10am in the Church of St Paul, Ayrfield, Dublin 13, followed by burial at Balgriffin Cemetery Extension

 

Family flowers only please , donations if desired to the Society of St Vincent de Paul
