Edward (Eddie) Fegan

The death has occurred of Eddie Fegan, Freeport, Barna, Co. Galway. Eddie, in his 92nd year, peacefully, at his daughter’s residence, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Ruth.

Predeceased by his sisters, Mai, Sarah, Susan and Theresa. Step family, Margaret, Leo and Patrick. Sadly missed by his daughters Mary Barrett (Slieveaneena) and Margaret Davoren (Barna), sons-in-law Peter and Michael. Beloved grandfather to Aidan, Peter, Mary-Ruth and Méadhbh, adoring great-grandfather to Sophie. Fondly remembered by other relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Eddie was the last surviving member of his family.

Reposing at the Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna, from 5pm to 7pm on Monday the 28th of November. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, the 29th of November, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Barna Cemetery.
