Edward (Eddie) Hand

Hand, Edward (Eddie), 9th July, 2025, (Ballinea, Mullingar and formerly of Plymouth England). Peacefully after a long illness. Predeceased by his loving wife Norma, son Sean, his parents John and Sheila, brothers Philip, Francis, Anthony and sister Sheila.

Edward will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his son Paul, adored grandchildren Luka, Amelie and Herbie, best friend Elizabeth, sisters Jean and Dolores, brothers John, David, Denis, Vincent, Larry, Peter and Leslie, his many nieces, nephews, neighbours especially Tony, Jane, Jim, Joyce, wide circle of friends from the Field Gun Rugby Club, The Royal Navy and his devoted dogs Patch, Saffy, and Millie.

Reposing at Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Tallaght (opp Tallaght Stadium) on Saturday (12th July) from 11.30am to 1.30pm with Removal to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium for a Celebration of Edward's life at 2.30pm.
