MEANY (Lower Glanmire Road, Cork); On January 1st, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his family at home, EDWARD (Eddie), (late of Ford & Son), (Life Long Member & former President of St. Stephen's Pitch & Putt Club), beloved husband of Noreen (née Downey), loving dad to Gerard and Declan, adored grandad to Ryan, Nicole, Kelly, Ciara and Darragh, dear brother of John and the late Dermot and Lil.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sons, grandchildren, brother, daughter-in-law Jennie, Declan’s partner Marcella, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lying in repose at the Coburg Street Funeral Home, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (January 3rd) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (January 4th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Lower Glanmire Road. Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
