The death has occurred of
Edward (Eddie) MOONEY
MOONEY (late of Leicester and formally of Mulgrave Street, Dun Laoghaire) – February 21st 2023 (peacefully) in the devoted and wonderful care of Hinckley & Bosworth Community Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary. Edward (Eddie); dearly beloved husband of the late Colette, much loved son of the late Esther (Essie) and Charles (Charlie), loving brother of Patrick and the late Dolly, Doug and Paul; Sadly missed by his loving brother, sisters-in-law Ann and Pat, nieces Bernie, Geraldine, Lorraine, Ann, Catherine, Marion and Teresa, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Eddie is resting at McCartneys Funeral Service, 47 Coventry Road, Hinckley LE10 0JR. Reception into Blessed Sacrament Church, Gooding Ave., Leicester on Thursday 23rd March at 4pm followed by Requiem Mass at 10am and burial on Friday 24th March at Kirby Muxloe Cemetery.
