Edward (Eddie) Phelan

Phelan, Edward, (Eddie), late of Glasnevin, Drimnagh and The Liberties, formerly of Guinness – 15th April 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and the staff at the Mater Hospital. Edward, loving and devoted husband of Mary and cherished dad of Ken, Adrian, Jen and Dave. Predeceased by his parents Bridie and Neddy, brother Richard, sister-in-law Alice and brother-in-law José. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons and daughter, grandchildren Evan, Jessica, Joshua, Max, Ollie and Hughie, son-in-law James, daughters-in-law Nic and Jen, brother Shay, sister Ann, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West (D11 W7VX) on Sunday (19th April) from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Funeral on Monday morning (20th April) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Ballymun Road for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Resuscitation and Special Care Unit in the Mater Hospital, for their exceptional care of Eddie.
