The death has occurred of
EDWARD (Eddie) SHANAHAN
EDWARD SHANAHAN (Eddie) Park Street, Midleton & formerly of Clonea, Co. Waterford. Passed away on November 7th, 2023, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Community Hospital, Midleton.
Beloved husband of Mary (née Barrett), loving father of Tosh, Eddie, Liz, Yvonne, Sue, Michael and Jason. Sadly missed also by his grandchildren, brothers and sisters, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Eddie Rest In Peace.
Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, to The Friends of Midleton Hospital.
Eddie will repose at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, on Thursday 9th from 5pm-7pm.
Eddie’s cortège will pause at his home in Park Street on Friday 10th at 10.15am, continuing onwards for 11am Requiem Mass in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Mass will be available to view live on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and on www.midletonparish.ie
