Edward (Eddie) SHAW

SHAW, Edward (Eddie), Brookfield, Mullingar, March 11, 2026, (passed away peacefully) surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the staff and nurses at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar; pre-deceased by his loving father Lal.

Edward will be greatly missed by his adored sons Adam and Ben, his mother Betty, brothers Joseph, Richard, James, John, Matthew and his only sister Mary, his dearest friend Dominique, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, his much loved nieces, nephews and godchildren, aunts, uncles, extended family, work colleagues, very wide circle of friends and Fiona, mother of his boys.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar (N91 RY65) on Friday, March 13, from 3.30 o'c., concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar arriving at 6.30 o'c. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11.00 o'c., followed by burial in Walshestown Cemetery (N91 YY57) Edward's Mass can be seen on the live webcam by clicking on the Funeral Service link.
