Edward Hughes – (Ballinabranna and Clogrennane, Carlow), November 12th 2024 peacefully after a long illness bravely borne in the gentle care of the nurses and staff of Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Kilkenny.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Betty) (Parsons), children Noel, Annerie, Elizabeth, Angela and Edwina, daughter-in-law Susana, grandchildren David and Carlos, sister Eleanor, brother Tim, brothers-in-law Jim, Michael and Richard, sisters-in-law Sheila, Mary, Bernadette and Gina, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May Edward Rest in Peace.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Thursday evening from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in St. Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna (R93 PF77). Burial in the adjoining cemetery
