The death has occurred of
Edward James Hinchy
Edward Hinchy (late of Avondale Park), beloved husband of Patricia, father to Emma, Stephen and Robert, and grandfather to Sebastian, Finn, Darragh, Anna and Eoghan passed peacefully, at St Luke’s Home on February 23, 2026. He is particularly regretted by his siblings June and Thomas, sister-in-law Margaret and children-in-law Kai, Carmel and Jeannine; but also by a diverse circle of friends.
Brewer and dairy scientist, avid local historian and pioneering diver, he is at last gone for the long swim.
