EDWARD JOHN BEATTIE Ballagh, Rahara, Co Roscommon. August 13th, 2024; (Peacefully), surrounded by his family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice. Predeceased by his infant son John, parents Michael and Elizabeth, sisters Peggy Byrne and Bridie Keane and brother Mattie. He will be forever missed by his loving and devoted wife Teresa, sons Noel, Kevin, James, Anthony and Matthew, sisters Maureen Beirne and Kathleen Tully, daughters-in-law Denise, Joanne, Christina, Ruth and Lorna, grandchildren Ciara, Conor, Eva, Tomás, Eddie, Tessa, Emma, Sarah, Shane, Ethan, Lauren and Ryan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Edward John rest in peace.

Edward will be waked at his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony’ and Ruth's house (F42 W983) on Wednesday evening. He will then repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening from 6 o’c until 8 o’c and then back to Anthony and Ruth's house for Thursday night. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Church of Mary Immacuate, Rahara for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Rahara Cemetery.
