Edward Joseph (Joe) PHILLIPS

Edward Joseph (Joe) Phillips, Strand, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully at Beechwood House Nursing Home, Newcastle West on Friday, 26th December 2025, with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Ned and Margaret Phillips.

Joe is very sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, son Mark, daughters Karen, Sarah and Eileen, grandchildren Thomas, Avery and Fíadh, sons-in-law James and Cian, brothers Jack, Billy and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Sunday, 28th December from 5.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated in The Church of The Visitation Monagea on Monday, 29th December at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial in Monagea Cemetery.

House Private after 7.00 p.m. on Saturday
