The death has occurred of
Edward (Ned) Coogan
Edward (Ned) Coogan (Park Avenue, Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Uskerty, Coon, Co.Kilkenny and Ex Garda Siochána) January 25th 2023, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mai and dear father of Catherine and Laura. Predeceased by his brothers John and Martin and his sisters Mary, Bridget, Joan and Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons-in-law Willie and Edward, grandchildren James, Anna, Harry and Jessica, brother Jimmy, sisters Lil and Maggie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Church Avenue Blanchardstown (Eircode D15 XR76) on Thursday evening (26th. January) from 6pm until 8pm. Reposing also at Coady’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlecomer, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 AK38) on Friday evening (27th January) from 4pm until 7pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Coon on Saturday morning (28th January) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
