Edward (Ned) Desmond
Desmond (The Lawn, Redemption Road, Cork): On December 27, 2018, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, at the Cork University Hospital, EDWARD (NED) (late of Harrington’s Paints), dearly beloved husband of Phil (nee McSweeney), devoted father of Eileen, Eddie and Shirley. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken family, grandchildren, great- grandchild, brothers John and Paddy, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends.
Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on this Friday evening at 7.45pm followed by removal to the Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Tory Top Road.
