It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Edward (Ned) O’Neill, Pearse Avenue, Janesboro, Limerick and Ex An Post.
On March 30th 2026, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his family.
Pre-deceased by his wife Sheila.
Loving father of Mark and Jonathan.
Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters-in-law Claire and Majella, cherished granddaughter Sarah, brother Liam, sister-in-law Marie, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Holy Saturday, April 4th, from 3pm to 4.30pm.
Funeral will arrive at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Roxboro Road, Easter Sunday, April 5th, for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm, Funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret.

The O’Neill family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of University Hospital Limerick for their exceptional care of Edward in his final days.
