Edward Patrick (Paddy) GALVIN

Formerly of Guinness and Waterford Crystal. Peacefully, in his 90th year, in the exceptional care of Newtownpark House Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving children. Beloved husband of the late Mary (née Grant) and wonderful father of Imelda, Regina, Orla and Grant. Very sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Michael Heavey, Brendan Pigott and Cecil Shine and daughter-in-law Fran Galvin, his adoring grandchildren, Sarah (and her husband Turlough Considine), David (and his fiancée Jenny Mahon), Nicola, Louise, Jennifer, Matthew, Alison, Kathryn, Emma and Oscar and great-granddaughter Saoirse. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law May Galvin, Anne & Fred Galvin, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at home on Thursday evening (1st September) from 5pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Friday morning (2nd September) to the Church of The Holy Cross, Dundrum for 10.30am Funeral Mass and afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can also be viewed live at www.dundrumparish.com/webcam/. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice.
